Yes, Jimdo offers both free and paid plans. The free plan allows users to create a basic website with Jimdo branding and limited features. The paid plans, on the other hand, offer more advanced features, custom domain options, and the ability to remove Jimdo branding from the website. The cost of the paid plans varies depending on the features and services included. **

To remove "Jimdo" from the address of your Jimdo website, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan that allows you to use a custom domain. Once you have a custom domain, you can set it up to point to your Jimdo website, effectively removing "Jimdo" from the address. This will give your website a more professional and branded look. **

Jimdo cannot be edited because it is a website building platform that allows users to create and customize their websites through its user-friendly interface. Once a website is created and published on Jimdo, it can only be edited by logging into the Jimdo account and making changes through the website editor. This means that visitors to the website cannot directly edit the content or design of the site. This is to ensure that the website owner has full control over the content and appearance of their website. **

The video background on the Jimdo site may not work on mobile devices due to technical limitations and compatibility issues. Mobile devices have different hardware and software specifications compared to desktop computers, which can affect the performance of video backgrounds. Additionally, some mobile browsers may not support video backgrounds or may have limitations on autoplaying videos to conserve data and battery usage. To ensure a better user experience, it's important to consider these factors and optimize the website for mobile devices by using alternative design elements such as static images or responsive design techniques. **

The Jimdo subscription trap refers to a situation where users sign up for a free trial of Jimdo's website building service but are automatically enrolled in a paid subscription once the trial period ends. Many users may not realize they are being charged until they see the charge on their credit card statement. This practice has led to complaints from customers who feel they were misled or trapped into paying for a service they did not intend to purchase. **

No, the Jimdo form is supported. Jimdo offers a form builder tool that allows users to create custom forms for their websites. This tool enables users to collect information from visitors, such as contact details or feedback, and is fully supported by the Jimdo platform. **

A Jimdo HTML Widget is a tool that allows users to add custom HTML code to their Jimdo website. This can be used to embed external content such as videos, social media feeds, or custom forms. The HTML Widget gives users more flexibility and control over the design and functionality of their website by allowing them to add code that is not natively supported by Jimdo's standard features. **

The security of a Jimdo site depends on how the site owner has configured it. Jimdo offers security features such as SSL encryption for all websites, which helps to protect the data transmitted between the site and its visitors. Additionally, Jimdo regularly updates its platform to address any security vulnerabilities. However, it is ultimately the responsibility of the site owner to ensure that their site is secure by using strong passwords, keeping their software up to date, and following best practices for online security. **
